Warranty

In addition to any Consumer Guarantees available under the ACL, Ai Ecosystem warrants to the Purchaser that the Product shall be free from any defect in materials and workmanship under normal use. This Limited Product Warranty applies to all products purchased from us for twelve (12) months from the date of receipt of shipment (‘Limited Warranty Period’). This warranty is not transferrable if the unit is sold to a third party.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

The Limited Warranty does not apply to any:

  • Damage caused by nature or acts of God, for example, lightning strikes, tornadoes and the like;
  • Negligent or incorrect use of the Product;
  • Commercial use of the Product;
  • Modifications to any part of the Product;
  • Damage caused by negligence, accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes;
  • Damage caused by operating the Product outside the permitted or intended uses described by the manufacturer’s instructions or with improper voltage or power supply;
  • Damage caused by servicing of the product (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not Manufacturer authorized; or
  • Damage caused by natural wear and tear.

FAULTY PRODUCTS

  • Goods are classified as faulty if they are dead upon arrival, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within a reasonable period from the time of purchase.
  • Also, please note to consider any item as faulty, the damage should not be wear or tear related.
  • Hence if you think a product is faulty, please contact us.
  • Accordingly, our team will assist you in organizing the return of product. Also if we deem the item as faulty, we will in the order of sequence repair the item or provide a replacement or issue a refund. However if the item is found to be NOT faulty upon return then buyer is liable to pay for onward and return shipment charges before the same item is returned back to the buyer.
  • Please use or include with the returning product, all original packaging and labels.
  • For items such as electric scooters, external parts that are prone to wear and tear may not be covered under warranty.
  • At times it does so happen that external wear and tear is overlooked by buyers and the scooter is continued to be ridden, which in turn leads to damage of internal parts such as battery or motor. Such internal damages may be classified as ‘User Induced’ and hence these too may not be covered under warranty.
  • An example of same being a scooter being used even with a flat rear tire which leads to motor over-heating and subsequent motor cable burnout.

REMEDIES

If a hardware defect is found and a valid claim is lodged to Ai Ecosystem within the Limited Warranty Period, Ai Ecosystem will, at its discretion and to the extent permitted by law, either:

  • repair the Product at no charge to the Purchaser, using new or refurbished replacement parts; or
  • replace the product with a new or refurbished Product.
  • offer a refund if the above 2 options were no longer feasible.

In the event a defect is discovered, to the extent permitted by law, these are your sole and exclusive remedies. Shipping and handling charges may apply except where prohibited by applicable law. Any replacement hardware product or parts will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in the jurisdiction under the ACL.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

A Warranty Service Order must first be requested from Ai Ecosystem within the Limited Warranty Period from the date of receipt of shipment. To request a Warranty Service Order, the purchaser must contact us.
In accordance with applicable law, Ai Ecosystem may require the customer to furnish proof of purchase details. Ai Ecosystem will bear the cost of repair or replacement under warranty service and any guarantee of quality to the extent required under ACL. To obtain warranty service, you must send the product, in either its original packaging or packaging providing an equal degree of protection to the address specified by us.
It is your responsibility to backup any data, software, or other materials you may have stored or preserved on the product. It is likely that such data, software, or other materials will be lost or reformatted during service, and Ai Ecosystem will not be responsible for any such damage or loss.
This Limited Product Warranty by Ai Ecosystem is separate to the Consumer Guarantees provided under Australian Consumer Law.
